Foundational Functional Medicine Program
This six-month program is a comprehensive deep dive into your health. We examine your story, symptoms, medical history, lifestyle patterns, environment, and physiology through advanced testing.
Together, we explore the key systems that shape your wellbeing — hormones, gut health, immune function, metabolic health, bioenergetics, stress response, sleep, nutrition, and movement.
Appointments occur every 4–6 weeks, allowing us to evaluate progress, adjust your plan, and support meaningful, sustainable change. This program builds the foundation for both healing and long-term health optimization.
Sustained Wellness Management Program
This program provides structured, ongoing support after completing an initial functional medicine program. Ideal for patients continuing hormone therapy, metabolic support, or chronic condition management, it includes 30-minute appointments every 4–6 weeks, continued lab monitoring, and medication management as needed.
The focus is stability, safety, and refinement — ensuring your treatment remains effective and aligned with your body’s evolving needs. This is a yearly membership-style program for long-term continuity of care.
Annual Comprehensive Lab Review
This targeted program is designed for individuals who want a clear, science-based interpretation of their labs each year without a full functional medicine program. You’ll receive three one-hour appointments: an initial history and assessment visit to determine appropriate testing, followed by two lab review sessions.
This offering is ideal for those who want expert insight, clinical interpretation, and a clear action plan based on their biomarkers — without ongoing visits.

Support for Every Stage of Wellness
At Healed + Whole, we address the root causes behind your symptoms, not just the surface––providing personalized, science-based care every step of the way. Explore the list below to see the wide range of conditions we treat.
-
Digestive symptoms are often the starting point for broader health issues. Bloating, constipation, diarrhea, reflux, and food sensitivities can signal deeper imbalances in digestion, absorption, the microbiome, or the gut-immune connection. At Healed + Whole, gut health is evaluated through a root-cause lens that considers nutrition, stress physiology, infections, inflammation, and overall system balance. Supporting gut health often leads to improvements far beyond digestion, including energy, mood, hormone balance, and immune resilience.
-
Autoimmune and chronic inflammatory conditions develop when the immune system becomes dysregulated, often due to a combination of genetic susceptibility, gut dysfunction, stress, infections, and environmental triggers. Functional medicine focuses on identifying and reducing the drivers of immune activation while supporting the body’s regulatory systems. Care is individualized and paced, with the goal of reducing symptom burden, supporting immune balance, and improving quality of life.
-
Metabolic health plays a central role in long-term wellness, energy, hormone balance, and cardiovascular risk. Concerns such as insulin resistance, blood sugar instability, cholesterol imbalance, and elevated inflammation often develop gradually and can be addressed proactively. Functional medicine evaluates metabolic health in context — looking beyond single lab values to understand patterns, lifestyle factors, and physiology — and creates personalized strategies to support sustainable, long-term health.
-
Mood changes, poor sleep, anxiety, low motivation, and brain fog are often connected to underlying physiological imbalances rather than isolated mental health concerns. Stress physiology, inflammation, nutrient status, gut health, hormone balance, and sleep rhythms all influence cognitive and emotional wellbeing. Functional medicine takes a whole-person approach to support mental clarity, emotional resilience, and restorative sleep by addressing the systems that shape brain health.
-
Women’s health concerns evolve across every stage of life — from the reproductive years through perimenopause and menopause. Conditions such as irregular cycles, PMS, PCOS, fertility challenges, fatigue, weight changes, mood shifts, and disrupted sleep are often rooted in hormone, metabolic, and inflammatory imbalances.
Functional medicine supports women through thoughtful, individualized evaluation that considers hormone patterns, metabolic health, gut function, stress physiology, and lifestyle factors. Care may include nutrition and lifestyle strategies, targeted supplementation, and — when appropriate — hormone therapy. The goal is to support balance, fertility, long-term wellness, and quality of life across all seasons of womanhood.
-
Men’s health concerns are often under-recognized and under-addressed. Symptoms such as fatigue, low motivation, poor sleep, weight gain, reduced muscle mass, and low libido may be linked to hormone shifts, metabolic health, stress, and inflammation. Functional medicine offers a comprehensive approach to men’s health, focusing on optimizing physiology, supporting long-term vitality, and addressing root causes rather than isolated symptoms.
-
Some individuals experience ongoing symptoms that don’t fit neatly into a single diagnosis — persistent fatigue, pain, brain fog, inflammation, or a general sense that something isn’t right, even when basic labs appear normal. These concerns often involve multiple systems and require time, curiosity, and a comprehensive approach.
Functional medicine is particularly well-suited for complex and unresolved symptoms. Care focuses on identifying patterns, understanding how systems interact, and uncovering root causes that may have been overlooked. The goal is to bring clarity, direction, and a thoughtful path forward for those who have struggled to find answers.
-
Health optimization focuses on supporting the body before symptoms become disease. This includes individuals who feel generally well but want to improve energy, cognition, metabolic health, hormone balance, and long-term resilience as they age.
Functional medicine evaluates key systems that influence longevity — metabolic health, inflammation, hormone balance, nutrient status, gut health, sleep, stress physiology, and lifestyle patterns — to help patients stay strong, clear, and well over time. The goal is not just prevention, but building a foundation for vibrant, sustainable health across the lifespan
Questions + Answers
-
Functional medicine is a personalized, science-informed approach that looks for the underlying reasons behind your symptoms. Instead of treating issues in isolation, it considers the whole picture — your physiology, lifestyle, history, relationships, and daily patterns — to support long-term health.
Traditional medicine is often protocol-driven, with very limited time for each visit. The average appointment lasts only a few minutes, making it difficult to understand the full context of a patient’s concerns. Functional medicine takes a different approach. Appointments are unhurried and intentionally spacious, allowing time to explore how systems interact, what’s driving symptoms, and how to create a plan tailored to the individual. This model prioritizes depth, listening, and true individualized care — not the clock.
-
No, we do not take insurance. Healed + Whole Functional Medicine is a cash-pay practice. This allows for longer visits than the traditional medical system, individualized care, advanced testing options, and the flexibility to tailor treatment to each patient without insurance limitations.

Yes. Hormone replacement therapy is offered within a functional medicine framework, meaning it is personalized, safety-focused, and monitored thoughtfully with both symptoms and laboratory data.
-
We use a combination of conventional and advanced functional labs based on each patient’s needs. This may include hormone panels, thyroid testing, metabolic markers, inflammatory markers, GI testing, micronutrient assessments, and other evaluations that clarify underlying physiology.
-
No. Erin provides functional medicine care, which is different from primary care. Patients should maintain a relationship with a primary care provider for urgent issues, routine screenings, and acute medical needs.
-
Most patients transition to the Sustained Wellness Management Program, which offers ongoing support, hormone therapy monitoring, medication management, and regular follow-ups to maintain progress.
